100’th Article

Well here we are… And by that I mean me and the two of you who have put up with me. Honestly, I’m surprised that anyone even stumbled onto this blog. I figured that it would be just me badly spelling things and throwing out ideas into the void just to create some discipline in writing for, what I know not. And here we are, we happy very few. The most “read”* article was looked at 64 times! Not that I have figured out which article that is. Welcome to my troglodyte world. But still 64… To me that is huge.

The other big thing is that I should have by now produced around 130,000 poorly spelled and grammatically dubious words. Which is well over the average book length. I have always wanted to write a book and at least now I can say I have written the amount of words. Next up I need a unified topic, readers, and a publisher. However, Scripture says not to despise the day of small things. I’ll take what I can get.

Samuel James has said blogging is dead and Substack is where the action is at. And he is probably right, but he kind of has a few hundred people (me included) who trail him around his platforms and Kevin DeYoung name drops him every once in a while. If I moved to Substack I doubt anyone would even notice. If perchance the instagram manages to gather anyone beyond trolls then maybe I could slap the same stuff up on both places. But that is a thought for another day.

Some things have changed since the first article. I post short pieces on Fridays pretty darn regularly. The instagram is scaring the hell out of me, it may go away. And sadly M’colleague has departed (Though there is some debate as to if she was ever really here). I personally hate change so only one of these things would I consider a net positive at this time.

So here I am celebrating 100 posts or articles, or whatever you want to call them. If you would be so kind as to raise your cigars and scotches in a salute to my honor achievement. Hooray!
